Just hoping that the city DOES look at the proximity to the school when determining the restrictions -- if any -- that might accompany a liquor license. I think we'd all agree that our towncenter area already has too many speeding cars, and that adding alcohol consumption to the mix might be dangerous and should be looked at carefully. I'm sure the city will do the right thing, since no one will want to have made the decision that leads to a potential tragedy. Thanks, and that was basically my point. They can also dictate the time period that the license is valid. However, hopefully they'll make a restriction that no alcohol at all can be served until long after school lets out in the afternoon, so that there's less of a risk of someone leaving the bar and getting into their car "under the influence" while there are still kids walking around the school and townsquare areas.
